Application / Description

This handy little adapter enables the user to connect two STEREO cables with 6.35mm 1/4″ Jack connectors (e.g. headphone cables) to a single device with a stereo 1/4″ TRS output. This adapter is typically used as a headphone signal splitter

Split Headphone Signals
With the 1/4″(m) end plugged into a stereo headphone output, two separate ‘stereo’ signals can be taken out of the adapter to separate pairs of headphones. Each of the duplicate signals will maintain the true Left and Right ‘stereo’ audio.

Combine Balanced or Stereo Signals
With the 1/4″(m) end in an input device like a balanced line input. Two separate TRS signals can be combined into one. Enabling users to combine two balanced output channels into a single balanced input. Or similarly with two separate ‘stereo’ channels. The strength of each signal will be determined by the initial input signal strength.
