Application / Description

This 6.35mm 1/4″ mono jack female to RCA male plug adapter enables the user to connect mono cables with 1/4″ Jack connectors to devices with RCA inputs.

Uses
Often in the audio industry, a device just doesn’t have the inputs you need.

For example, if someone needs to plug a mixing desk into a home stereo amplifier, it is more than likely that the amplifier, being designed for CD or DVD players, will have only RCA inputs. Two of these adapters will allow the user to plug a mixer (via the 6.35mm outputs) into said amplifier.

Plug a DVD into a Mixer
It can also be used in reverse, with two enabling a user to plug a DVD player, or DJ mixer (with RCA outputs) into a mixing desk.
