SGC210 24 AWG Sprial Shielding Lower Capacitance Instrument Cable – 100% Stranded OFC Copper
The SGC210 is low capacitance instrument cable with an ultra flexible outer jacket. Conductive carbon plastic shield and spiral shield gives an excellent protection against interference of all kinds, such as electromagnetic fields caused by dimmers, motors or power cables. Thick conductors built using 24AWG OFC (oxygen free copper). This guitar cable is suited for all kinds of applications where reliable unbalanced signal transmission is needed.
The lower the capacitance of the cable, the better it performs at higher frequencies. Lower cable capacitance allows more of the natural “brightness,” “presence,” or “bite” of an instrument to reach the amp, which in turn allows the treble controls to be run lower, reducing hiss and other unwanted noise.
