The Power connector including PowerCON connectors and PowerCON True1 connectors were manufactured by Neutrik with the purpose of connecting mains power to electrical equipment in a safer more compact manner. Its design is similar to that of a Speakon connector and it features the twist and lock mechanism for a more rigid and faultless contact between devices which minimizes wear and tear on the connector and the chassis.
